The program created by the cooperation in the educational project of the disciplinary areas of Design, Mechanical Engineering and Materials Engineering, has the objective of specialist training in three fundamental areas: Design, Process and Industrial Production; Design Materials; Representation and Prototyping.

The program aims at preparing engineers to develop and use information technology tools, in order to satisfy the widest variety of applications. Compared to the Bachelor of Science, the Master of Science offers students the possibility to acquire greater ability to model and solve complex problems, integrating different advanced skills and technologies.

The program links the fundamental disciplines of Civil Engineering (design and construction of civil and environmental structures and infrastructures) with a broad overview of the most advanced Risk Management tools, with particular attention to forecasting and prevention issues concerning structures and infrastructures and soil, on which they are built or embedded, due to natural and anthropic causes.

The two-year Master of Science in Civil Engineering provides students with a sound preparation on these structures and on infrastructures, allowing them to choose a curriculum (or ‘track’) among the five available: General, Geotechnics, Hydraulics, Infrastructures, and Structures.

Chemical engineering provides the leading-edge solutions to the society’s needs: we require clean energy sources, efficient and clean technologies for energy transformation, technologically advanced materials, better medicines, efficient food production techniques, a clean environment, a better use of natural resources.

This program aims at providing graduates with sound engineering skills to design, to develop, to implement and to manage automation systems for manufacturing plants, industrial processes, mechatronic devices, distribution networks and environmental systems.

The program provides a preparation particularly focused on issues of design, operation and maintenance of aircraft and their onboard systems.

Food Engineering aims at developing a new food industry culture and at training master degree-level students who are able to solve problems and to innovate the value chain of the food and beverage industry.

The Laurea Magistrale (equivalent to a Master of Science) trains professionals able to tackle the complexity of mobility systems and the interaction of the critical issues concerning safety, technology, management, ethics and strategical aspects of mobility systems and urban development.

Music and Acoustic Engineering is a two-year Master Program that falls within the area of Information Engineering (the "reference disciplinary area", as identified by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research, is LM-32, corresponding to Computer Science and Engineering). The postgraduate program in "Music and Acoustic Engineering" forms experts and designers who are able to face consolidated as well as emerging technological challenges in the audio, music and acoustics areas.

The Master of Science in Cyber Risk Strategy and Governance gives students the tools required to understand, assess and govern the opportunities and threats of the existing and emerging technologies used in our society. As innovative technologies are adopted, new issues arise, so students learn to look ahead, evaluate and communicate threats before they unfold.

This program aims at providing a multidisciplinary background for architects, with a special focus on environmental sustainability and landscape design. The concept of sustainability is associated with a high-quality transformation of the landscape, from the macro-scale of urban planning to the micro-scale of technical details, how the varied scales connect and interrelate with each other.

The program in "Landscape Architecture - Land Landscape Heritage" integrates technical, natural and agronomical sciences, as well as historical, cultural and social studies. The program is based on design studios and lectures on current themes such as the design of soil and of public open spaces, of the urban and rural landscape, preservation of landscape heritage, regeneration of derelict areas, sustainable tourism and hydrogeological risk prevention.

The environment we live in nowadays is very complex and the architect is forced to work on the existing heritage paying particular attention to its sustainability and considering the environment together with the built heritage as a resource to protect. The new MSc program "Architectural Design and History" is offering a study plan based on this very attitude.
